The turnout is that of the connection to Marcroft Engineering's wagon repair depôt. On the right, beyond the wagon can be seen the bow-girdered side of the rail overbridge over the Tennant canal. The walling on the left is the other side of the bridge as the canal passed under on the skew. Beyond the left-hand stop signal is the Crumlin Bog open level crossing.
